£1,764/mth or approximately £136/room/week*
* Rates are based on Sat 14th Sept 2019 - Sunday 3rd May 2020 though may change slightly for specific dates. Electricity is metered and charged at the standard retail domestic rate against a deposit of 10-15% of the value of the booking. The first 6 weeks rent is paid in advance.
All bookings can be made directly with Les Ormes. We highly recommend that bookings are made before July when winter letting advertising commences. Bookings can be taken much earlier but payments are non-refundable. In total there are 22x 3 bed apartments, 25x 2 bed lodges and 6x one beds lodges.
If looking to share you will first need to meet up with others on the JICAS closed Facebook page before confirming dates and making a single booking with Les Ormes. Between you, you may wish to agree a different split of rent for ensuite, double or bunk room.
Transport to St Helier
Regular bus service (2 min walk to bus stop) £2 each way
30-45 min cycle ride via railway path and cycle tack around St Aubins Bay
Richelieu Lodge, St Helier
Richelieu Lodge residence is conveniently located close to St Helier and the coast. From here, you have easy access by bus into St Helier or to the east of the island.
The spacious residence includes 10 bedrooms, all with private bathrooms. A number of these are large twin or treble rooms which are suitable for couples or single parents sharing with children. Communal areas include a kitchen, dining area, lounge, garden and games room where you can socialise with other students. The kitchen can be used to prepare meals or alternatively you can try out one of the many dining options available in St Helier.

Location: 7.5km from St Brelade’s College, 1km to St Helier & 0.5km to the south coast. A supermarket and cash machine are also nearby
WiFi: Throughout the residence
Daily transport: Morning transfer to school (students should expect to spend approximately 30 minutes on the bus). Additionally, students will be given a free public bus pass to use during their stay.
Facilities: Communal areas include a kitchen, dining room, lounge, games room and an enclosed garden with picnic area
Laundry & cleaning: Bed linen & bath towels provided, as well as weekly room cleaning. A washing machine is available onsite for personal laundry for a minimal fee.
